Method 2: Fabric Softener
Using fabric softener is also relatively simple and extremely cost effective. Chances are you have some fabric softener lying around the house. For this process, you need a spray bottle, fabric softener, water, and your vacuum. To start you need to mix a simple do-it-yourself solution. The solution consists of three parts water to one part fabric softener. Pour this solution into the spray bottle and lightly spray the affected area of your carpet. After letting it stand for a few minutes, you are ready to vacuum it up. You should see the hair come right out.
Method 3: Sponge Mop or Squeegee
This method is meant for hair that has become embedded deep in your carpet’s fibers. Brush either a sponge mop or squeegee along the troubled areas with the hair and fur. This method works great against stubborn spots.
